Can I get a sample to try out?
Yes! A sample kit can be ordered to try out the coating. The cost of the sample kit is refunded back to you with a Liquid Vinyl purchase. Enough coating is contained in the kit coat about 20 square feet.

What colors are available?
Liquid Vinyl Siding™ is colorized locally. You can use ANY color chart and pick ANY color and then take it to an area paint store, hardware store or home center to add colorant tint into the color of choice. Liquid Vinyl Siding™ is manufactured in four different bases (white, medium, deep and neutral) so that the full range of colors can be utilized. Liquid Vinyl Siding accepts univesal colorant using standard paint color formulas.

What surfaces can be coated?
Liquid Vinyl Siding is a versatile coating; aAlmost ANY PAINTABLE SURFACE can be coated over. Common applications are wood, stucco, brick, block, composite siding, masonry and Hardie-Plank®. It can also be used to rejuvinate faded vinyl and aluminum siding to make it look new again.

Are there applications it should not be used for?
Liquid Vinyl Siding is not recommended for surcases that may become submerged in water and is not intended for deck boards or roofing applications.

Can I coat over vinyl siding?
Yes, it's the ideal product to bring old faded vinyl siding panels back to life and looking new again. Most vinyl siding manufacturers do not recommend using a color that is much darker in shade than its original color and Always use a vinyl‑safe color.

How difficult is Liquid Vinyl Siding to apply?
Liquid Vinyl is as easy to apply as regular paint. It is thicker than paint that can actually make it easier to apply. It has a thick, creamy consistency and goes on smooth with excellent coverage and be brushed, rolled or sprayed, just like paint. When spraying an airless sprayer that supports larger tips is needed. The application method used does not affect performance as long as the manufacturer guidelines are followed and the coating is applied at the appropriate thickness.

Can I apply it myself?
Yes, many homeowners handy with a brush apply the coating them self. The coating can be brushed, rolled or applied with an airless sprayer. Keep in mind that proper surface preparation is essential for a successful application. Surface preparation is similar to that of a good paint job and professional results can be achieved by following the guidelines provided.

How much coating will I need?
Vinyl ProPrime Base Coat covers 200 square feet per gallon and Liquid Vinyl Siding will cover up to 100 square feet per gallon. If you let us know the total square feet of surface area being coated we can help you determine how much product is needed (the painter should be able to tell you the total square feet). We can supply a written quotation with all costs.

Is Liquid Vinyl Siding expensive?
Obviously for a premium coating such as this it will cost slightly more than standard paint but coating with Liquid Vinyl Siding is less costly than new siding. When purchasing manufacturer direct and using a local painter your total cost should not be much more than a high quality paint job. Labor is the most expensive part of the paint job. Whether using Liquid Vinyl or regular paint the labor cost should be similar. Over time coating with Liquid Vinyl Siding end up being less expensive than regular paint which makes it a better option.

Do I need to remove the old paint?
In most cases NO! The existing paint can be coated over if it is sound and in generally good condition. Any loose, cracking or peeling paint should be scraped or sanded.

What is the best time of year to apply?
Any time temperatures are between 50°F and 90°F is ideal. Overnight temperatures should stay ABOVE 40°F for the following two days after application to allow proper curing.

How long does it take to receive the products after ordering?
Most orders arrive in 2 to 5 business days. A tracking number is provided so that you can stay updated on the delivery schedule.
